Best place to purchase working talismans?

Hey there, I'm new to the board. I've been looking for a website that sells genuine astrological talismans, meaning they are actually charged and ready for consecration. I know there are a lot of websites that sell bogus talismans with no effect or charge in them at all so I figured I would come here and see what you guys recommend.

I found a website called renaissanceastrology.com - this guy looks like he put in some work in to making his website and it actually looks convincing.. does anybody know if the talismans sold there are legit and properly made according to the texts of Agrippa and others like the Picatrix? Let me know along with where you guys get your talismans from! Thanks in advance.

I have a little experience with the talismans from there. I do believe they are pretty much by the book, except in some cases with the specific materials called for... one text may call for something very specific (eye of newt lol), but then another may say something about how the mterial of the talisman isnt as important as the intent and timing etc...

I'd say though that according to my limited knowledge they are pretty much made about as close to the texts as could be done, though they may not please those with spiritual ADD... and They are beautiful works of art.

I've had some pretty cool successes with those talismans, and some dismal confounding and expensive failures. When there is a great success, they will say "SEE!!?!! The text is to be fully and unquestioningly believed", and when there is a failure the response will be "who whoa whoa you are expecting too much, you are not a true mage for expecting exactly what the text says (for examlpe " this talisman shall bring to you whomever you lovest and calleth for" etc...

They are not one size fits all in terms of their successes

I should add that I followed the instructions given, but didn't do the whole Hermetic prep and ritual etc, so my results may be because of that, which leads me to wonder how much better the

So basically, I think that there are many factors that the makers and users are not aware of that come into play, after all they aren't the product of a living tradition as opposed to something in Palo or Hoodoo (NOT Hoodoo learned on the net, but from some dude who also runs a Barbq joint in Memphis etc...) or Santeria etc...

Would I buy another one? At some point I may, but I will def do divination to determine how successful the effects may be

So, think long and hard if you want to spend the cash, cause they aren't cheap...
And they do provide results, but it's def not always successfull, and it isn't as said in the texts all th etime )or often at all in my expierience)...

Astrology is key for a talisman to be effective. A universial time electional is used to create the Renaissance
talismans. A Natal time electional is optimum for manifesting a talisman.

Should add that in my expierience to get best effects you also should personally consecrate the talisman at a good astrological time, and sunday at sunrise for the sun isn't going to cut it in my expiereince, despite what the pamphlet that comes with it says... it would be best at a time determined by a good traditional strologer... and if you haven't recived training as such, theres another $40 plus bucks to pay. For example, my friend got a tree of wealth one and did the consecration according to instructions... no results at all, but then did a consecration at a a time determined by electional astrology, and she got some pretty good financial results.

There are several books on the subject, give it a try!

Christopher Warnock runs Renaissanceastrology.com. He has a yahoo group called Spiritus Mundi. I suggest you join. There are about 1600 subscribers, so 'chatting' is highly discouraged. Every few months he has a free electional talisman, he tells you when and gives you a webpage for the image to create on paper. So you can follow him for however long you want and learn to create your own paper talismans, and find out if they work for you before deciding to plunk down big $ for a metal talisman. Every so often he gives out freebies, like ebooks. Totally worthwhile to sign up and read, it's only about 3 or 4 emails a week.

i think making your own talisman's is probably best on a variety of levels. I do and believe me I am very dangerous with instruments. Dangerous to myself that is.

well i made an jupiter tailsman i buyed a blank silver plate and i created this talisman in the hour of jupiter and of the day of jupiter i used the table of jupiter and jophiel s sign on it also the number 136 and the divine name of jupiter el ab i think for my first talisman it was realy good at all well i gaven it to an friend he needed more luck then me it didnt looked like the one that i use as profil picture but i still like that one well i decided to wait till 2015 the jear of jupiter and create me a new one then but in one or 2 months i have decided to make an mercury talisman cause we have an mercury year so i have to use this chance i going to made it in the year of mercury at the day of mercury in the hour of mercury soo ok i need a bigger silver plate for the mercury talisman cause the mercury table is bigger then the one from jupiter the blank silver plate will cost me 70 euro for creating this mercury talisman but its worth it that one for the jupiter one only cost me 27 euro at all well guys for creating planetery talismans does anyone knows better times for creating them well i think the way i do it its pretty good at all

You don't need to wait until 2015 to make a powerful Jupiter talisman.

Using the first hour of the planetary day of the week is only a rough guide, primarily intended for those who do not use astrology. Much more powerful influences can be utilized by simply finding out what the current transits are in your area.

For example, at 4:02 this morning (4:02 EST, 9:02 GMT February 15th 2012) in New York, we had Capricorn rising. This greatly strengthens Mars and Saturn, ceteris paribus. In addition, Saturn was in its exaltation sign of Libra, while also being exalted by house. At the minute quoted above it was also within 1 degree conjunct the midheaven. There may be some slight weakening effect due to the retrograde, but overall this is a very favorable time to create a Saturn talisman.

Similarly with the other planets. Try to find a time when your chosen planet is both in the 10th house, and favored by the Ascendant. Avoid times when the planet is in a sign detrimental to its nature. For instance, you may want to wait a few weeks until Mercury leaves Pisces to create a Mercury talisman.

You can place the planet in another house besides the 10th, if you have a specific purpose in mind which would be better suited to another house. In that case, you should still observe the Ascendant, so that it does not hinder (e.g. Scorpio rising for a Venus talisman), and preferably so that it helps (Libra, Pisces or Taurus rising for Venus) your cause.
